anything aviation related in your wills?

Do you have a death wish or something. As long as it’s a cheap disposal, I couldn’t care less, whether I’m chucked on the runway at DX, bunged into the firebox of an A-4 Pacific or shot into space, it ain’t going to bring me back is it.

not at all mate – lost my dad not too long ago, he was a steam train buff (I know,but you can’t choose your parents….he thought I was odd about aircraft;)) and we had to hunt around to dispose of his bits and pieces to be able to pass the money from them to the hospice where he spent his last few weeks. Nothing for gain, just get a good price to pass onto a very worthy cause.

been reflecting on it a bit, coming up to the anniversary of him falling ill and I’d like to be able to point people in my will where my bits and bobs can bring some benefit to the hobby or past time that we all love. Hopefully, a long way off but I’d hate to see my things being sold at a church jumble when a rare book could for example, raise some cash for a museum trying to raise funds.

I mentioned on another thread that I will look into having my ashes scattered at Duxford. I’ll need to rewrite it at some stage to make sure that my books for example don’t end up at a jumble and my die-cast collection doesn’t end up in the bin!

I’d look into donating them somewhere that they can be sold to benefit a museum as one idea (Midland Air Museum has a second hand section for example)

anybody else got anything planned (Ok ok, its morbid….) but it comes to us all !
