When VR930 pops in it will be odd to see so many RNHF related examples together!

Will they be using it to train prospective warbird pilots?

I suspect the other (airworthy) T.20 they have purchased will be a more likely candidate, in the short term.

I have lost track of how many Sea Furies the RNHF have operated. What are the plans for the FB11 that TFC have had as long as I have been going to Duxford?

Correct me if i’m wrong, but the RNHF are only on their second FB11 airframe. The TT20 was lost sadly. VZ345 was only a spares airframe, so never flew with them. Not bad for length of time the flights been going i reckon!

Ha……my Dad’s ‘little’ brother was Ginger Baker’s manager during Ginger’s short stint with Hawkwind.

All this talk of Sea Furies makes me wonder when the Iraqi Fury IDT will turn up.

The TFC guys are better placed than me to say, but all 3 furies will be flyers!!

i beleive they are clearing the area around there seafury to continue the restoration. Is alot of the work done on the airframe already?

The Fighter Collection Blog states that she’s en route to Duxford, having left Yeovilton at 12:30pm. Get those cameras ready if you’re on the motorways!

We’re going to bung a 4360 in it and sell “Race Day Experiences” to punters at 2 grand a pop. :dev2:
