I have a number of photographs of his aircraft (L1 + XB) which I will try to post here for you later this evening – as well as a colour representation of the fuselage markings. An interesting feature of aircraft from V/LG 1 during the summer of 1940 was the unusual dimensions of the fuselage Balkankreuz.
I am in regular contact with the Liensberger family and have been for well over 20 years.
You might be interested to know that artist Geoff Nutkins has painted the demise of Liensberger and this is available as a print.
