The local press seems to have got a bit carried away in saying “modern fighter jets” will be in attendance, but they seem to confirm the Tiger Club Turbulents and a Spitfire, plus another classic aircraft, and a lot of military vehicles. That might be it, but as I’m round the corner i’m not intending to miss it..

The poster which is around in the local shops features the blue spitfire X1 (Peter Teichmann’s and based at North Weald?) and a Stearman.

I dont know if this helps

Blimey, I’m amazed !!!!!!!!!

I only ever saw the odd microlight using it when I lived there.

Only decent show(s) I ever saw in that general-area was the old Orsett shows off the A.128 when ‘Black-6’ was still airworthy & making appearances !

(I’m not counting the Stapleford, or North-Weald “Fighter-meets” BTW:D)

As the strip at Damyns Hall is tiny, I’ll be watching this thread with a smile
