A friend mentioned to me that the 25th of October will be the 70th anniversary of the ‘Kyeema’ crash on Mt Dandenong near Melbourne, a memorial service has been planned for 12 o’clock with some important speakers and relatives of the crash victims in attendance, at 1.45 there is a proposed flyover by 2 DC-3’s. Crash site is located at Melways map 66 E1 which is in sight from my house so I should be lucky when the DC-3’s come over.
Just thought I would post this up in case any locals are interested.
