Wanted – photo's of inside of Proctor Cockpit

Hello All

I am hoping that people may be able to send me some photographs of the inside of a Percival Proctor Mk1 cockpit in its military configuration. Not all that interested in the civilian side.

I am looking for shots of the inside fuselage side above the centre section, and in the rear of the cockpit. I am looking for photos of the signal pistol and its attachment, also photograph of the fire fighting equipment. Basically anything that shows the military fitout.

I have some drawings giving some detail, however some images would be very helpful

thanks

Mark

Thanks for putting up the photos, they are very useful and help answer a number of questions. I have included a recent image of progress, I have been working the nose area. As you can see still a long way to go, however I need to think ahead. (The thinking and planning takes more time than the actual work).

I will be concentrating on the nose/instrument panel area for a while.

The cockpit area behind the centre section will be next on the list (ie the floor mainly).

I am still looking for more images of the cockpit area if anyone else can help. I have a number of images various cockpits that were civilianised and they all look slightly different. I am guessing but I think that may stem from if they were MK1 or MkII or MKIII’s.

Do you remember Ken Beard, the rebuilder of AUC about 20-30 years ago, I saw him recently.

cheers

Ross,

I now realise it was this earlier posting of yours that I was belatedly responding to, which explains why I hadnt seen the details of the specific military equipment fitout you were seeking.

hello Ross,

took some pics of “AUC” today, but focused on the rear of the cockpit and the area of the luggage compartment, didnt re-read this post to realise you wanted specific item photos and the top of the centre-section area, will do those in @ 3 weeks.
