Re the above Halifax.
I was wondering if there are any photos of her out there? There is one picture of her tail in Ron Collier’s “Dark Peak Aircraft Wrecks 2”, (captioned “Halifax HR727 – Modified Rudder), but do any other pics exist – either of the time when she was being used for the rudder experiments or when she was with 51 Squadron?
Exactly what mod. did she have to her tail?
Is it true she had the ‘Z’ nose from new?
Any information welcome…

Hi Don,
I think there’s a pic of HR727 in the book by Victor Bingham “Halifax, second to none”
Also the trials are mentioned .
