Midland Aircraft Museum today

Finally made it today after taking some advice from the board, what a fine place it is !

We waited to go into the Vulcan a while but junior got a bit fidgety after 20 mins so we went for a wonder, and the guy came to find us having seen us wait.

Then during a visit to the Argosy cockpit I mentioned I liked Starfighters, the guy (whose name I have now clean forgotten…sorry) offers to pop the canopy and let us have a sit inside. I swear he was just about to toss me the keys and let me take it for a spin around the block.

Well worth the hot sticky drive and we had a great time there, I’d recommend to anybody and will be back myself, I’ve never seen such open friendly people willing to make the visit work – fantastic.
