There are some photos etc. fo the Wardair bristols on a site ” abandoned plane wrecks of the north”

WardAir Bristols

Anyone here have information on the locations or photos of the wrecked Bristol’s used by Bush Pilot Max Ward’s firm Wardair?

Lovely to see those. May there be many more.
This Freighter is ex New Zealand, where it served initially as NZ5912 with the RNZAF

Then briefly adopted a civilian identity as ZK-BVI for Straits Air Freight Express for four months late 1957-early 1958 before returning to military service

When the RNZAF finally disposed of its Bristol fleet in 1978, it was flown Whenuapai – Ardmore as ZK-EPH

and then the military markings were replaced before its departure to the UK as G-BISU and eventually C-FDFC

Why bother? I’m sure a lot of us are eager to see them, get posting. We never get tired of interesting material on here and there is not enough coverage given to machines like the Bristol Freighter.

The shear volume of them would proberbly drive you all mad so I will spread them out a bit!
