Is a Hawker Hurricane attending Oshkosh?

Hi Mark V, thanks for the update. Too bad the Hurricane you hoped to entice likely won’t be attending.

There will be lots of other things to keep my interest, though seeing a Hurricane at Oshkosh would have been the cherry on top of the icing on the already large Oshkosh cake.

Well I am now sad to report the one I had hoped to entice is looking rather unlikely to attend 🙁 Ho hum.

Tbyguy, I too have been religiously checking the rosters to see if a Hurricane is attending.

Mk1, I sent you a PM which includes a copy of my July 08 response.

Mark 5, I will be eternally grateful if you are able to influence the decision on whether a Hurricane will attend Oshkosh.

You would think with the number of Hurricanes airworthy in North America that at least one would make it to Oshkosh. I will continue to keep my fingers and toes crossed.

I’m pushing to try to make that happen – but we will just have to see.

The various museum rosters of aircraft planning to attend OSH don’t indicate any Hurricanes for this year. I will certainly update if I discover any changes.
