Hi, I have A COMPERGWOOD laminated wooden propeller, I bought it 8 yrs ago at an antiques and collectors fare as I loved the wood it was made from, but would like to know what type of plane it came from.
written on the base of the blade is
DWG 3-1003-51-1
CONT N2885 – 11548 SER 2026
CAMFIELD
I now know it was made by Camfield manufacturing co, 620 North – Seventh street, Grand Haven, Michigan. USA . during WW2 for US MILITARY
If any one has any ideas I would be very grateful for your help.
