Morning all
Just thought I would pass on that the Alberta Aviation Museum’s Boeing 737 went through a series of complete engine runs June 21, 2008.
The runs were done as part of a maintenance program destined to keep the aircraft in a full operational state in spite of the fact a condition of donation in 2005 by Air Canada was that it not fly again.
Our aircraft has been and will continue to be maintained by a volunteer group of former Pacific Western Airlines and other airline personnel that are not only dedicated but highly qualified.
I do believe we are the only Aviation Museum with a fully functioning 737 and our 737 is the only one remaining in PWA colours.
