DC-6 unable to attend Waddington

From Air Atlantique’s Head of DC-6 operations:

“It is with deep regret and a great sense of frustration that I must inform you we will be unable to bring the DC-6 to Waddington on Sunday. Unfortunately a member of our crew has had to drop out at the last minute and, despite our best efforts, it is quite impossible to replace him at the eleventh hour.

I know this will be a huge disappointment for the many enthusiasts who were looking forward to our participation, particularly those who changed their plans to come on Sunday to see us. We are honoured to have such a strong following and saddened to be thwarted at the eleventh hour.

G-APSA remains fully serviceable and will be attending the London City Funday on Saturday – an event which is run each year in support of the Richard House Hospice. The rest of July is very busy and will see us at Farnborough during validation week (7-11 July) and throughout the show itself, flying on 15, 18, 19 and 20 July. Then of course there’s August and September…

Once again thank you for your tremendous support. Please keep checking our website for updates to our schedule.

We wish you and the Waddington team a safe and enjoyable show.”

The Six team.
