Many thanks to the BBMF for the simply wonderful sight and sound of the Lancaster circling over the centre of Manchester this lunchtime.
My colleagues and I had a grandstand 5th floor view and were quite enthralled, young and old alike. 🙂
Presumably this was in connection with Veterans’ Day so heartfelt thanks to our war veterans, too.

The BBMF Lanc was built at Chester.
It would be nice if it could pop over to Yeadon (Leeds/Bradford) one day as a tribute to the old Avro factory there.

Pity it can’t fly over the place that designed and (Possibly) built it. Chadderton.
Where was C o Lincoln built? So many factories were knocking ’em out dewerring the war.
