Thanks Guys for the quick responce. Just double checked the Clock case and it does say EK695 so must refir to something other than a Registration.

Firebrand that never was EK495
EK695 was not built ? the batch of Firebrands ended at EK694.
Yep Correct, I have just checked the EE file with air britain where the number was given charge for the admiralty for a batch of Firebrands,
then checked the Fleet air arm 1946-2000, and it reads EK694 as the last number, for that batch, the next Number is EK712 , so i imagine it was never built, Unless for any reason it was never taken onto RAF/FAA Charge, and they were used for tests/training within the company, or as instructional piece of equiptment , never actually going into service,
but it is very much more likely it was Cancelled , all i do find strange is from looking at air -britain, when there was a cancellation ,normally it is the whole part of that Batch/Contract

According to my Military Serials Book EK695 was part of a batch (EK601-EK967) allocated to Blackburn Firebrands Mk IV/V.
