BBMF Spitfire MK356 (Mk LFIXe)

Hello
Any body known if this plane was up yesterday.A friend seems to think a spitfire flown over this house in Cosby Leicestershire with d-day marking.
It could have been a mustang or Hanger 11 Supermarine Spitfire PL 965 :D:D:D

Thank you for any help.

It certainly wasn’t around this weekend as it had no undercarriage when I looked this morning…

Maybe it will be showing off soon 😉

that spit is currently being refurbished by ARCo at duxford and will re-emerge in a smart silver scheme with wingtips.the BBMF are really superb ambassadors for the RAF and for the fallen and surviving heroes, every time i see them i swell with pride.long may they continue to make us proud.

I was out looking for the BBMF over the Great Central railway.
To see a great airplane Spitfire P7350 (Mk IIa) two days on the run.
Any way every body knowns the greatest late 1940s fighter was
