This photograph was given to me by the widow of Flt Lt GHE Welford wo flew with 607 Squadron in the Battle of Britain. He subsequently served with 222 Squadron.
Welford is not on the photograph and I do not recognise the other pilots.
Over to the experts for some ID please

Hary Welford served with the CFS at Upavon and 11 FTS at Scone (Perth) prior to joining 222 Squadron if this helps.

Certainly not 607 Squadron anyway. In fact I would doubt that it was a squadron shot. Harry Welford spent most of his time from the end of 1940 until circa end of 1944 in training units: more than likely its from one of those.
All of the pilots are of F/O rank with exception of Sqdn Ldr. There are a few DFCs as well as some more decorations: all points to experienced men. Pilot front right looks as if he carries burn scars around the eyes. Pilot front left has some natty ankle boots: need a fashon expert here. I would have thought there would have been more in the photo if it was a squadron shot.
Best Wishes.
Robert.
