Luftwaffe casualties

I am intending to visit the IWM archive at some point but another appeal for information please. Does anyone know of any Luftwaffe crashes in Lancashire? I have found information about a Junkers Ju-88 that was shot down near the Manchester Ship Canal after a rash solo raid on Liverpool but this is the only mention I have found so far. I realise that a lot of the casualties from the Manchester and Liverpool raiders were most likely shot down to or from the target because the fighter cover was likely to have been heaviest on route. However, my late dad once told me of a bomber he saw being shot down over Manchester.

You might have a squizzo here:

or here:

(as I’m not quite sure what counts as South Lancashire…)

Thanks guys. I was in dire need of a cue. The Met Office are sending me weather records for the Manchester raids so it looks like I am slowly getting quite a bit of flesh on this project.
