Any help ID'ing a 87 Sqn Hurricane

Hi all,
been investigating a Local Hawker Hurricane Loss, but need more Info,
would really apreciate if any of you out there has any more on this elusive fighter,
all the info i have is as follows,
Hawker Hurricane of 87 Sqn crashed on 29/12/40 ,
at Stockwood Bristol,
Aircraft abandoned after cockpit filled with fumes,
Pilot reported safe ,

I think probably a IIC type as were most of 87 sqn whilst at Charmy Down,
Nr Bristol, They were a Night fighter Sqn at the time ,

any clues as to the serial No, or the pilots Name , or any better Locations ,
perhaps one of the old groups investigated it,
Quite keen to find this one as it has a lot of Local importance to me,
any clues would be greatfully recieved
