For those of you interested in Moth matters, there is an interesting account of the above plane in S.A., the official organ of the EAA.
The 1941 plane N12731, c/n A17-491 was originally with the Australian Air Force before being sold and moved to the U.S. It now features original instruments from the U.K. and was re-covered in Canada.
The owner Leon Whelchel, a retired airline pilot takes the plane to Oshkosh each year.
