I saw this at an antiques fair about 12 years ago and couldn’t bear to walk away fronm the stall and leave it behind.
It is about 7 inches / 17.5 cms square and is wooden but the circular part seems to be either resin or plastic.
The seond picture is a bigger copy of the inscription in the centre.
I know the history of the WW2 Memorial Flight ie the flight comprised of Sally B and Don Bullock’s Invader but I was hoping to establish whether this is a genuine item presented by the US Air Force or maybe a copy sold by the memorial flight or B-17 Ltd or was it Euroworld at that time? Assuming it is genuine I would imagine it came from an estate clearance in which case a fairly obvious candidate would be Don Bullock.
If anyone can shed any light on this mystery it would be much appreciated.

Thanks T21. I had a few minutes to spare and the scanner was working (for a change) so I thought I would give it a try on here first.
Must admit I was a bit surprised that I didn’t get more response but looks like the operator of Sally B is the next stop.

Maybe get in touch with the operators of the B-17 at Duxford ?
