Any Airfield Fans Living In Lancashire ?

Gentlemen………

I’ve always had a great interest in old airfields, particularly ex bomber command or 8th air force fields. Over the years I have managed to visit a few. However my levels of knowledge on the subject are very limited, certainly in comparison with some of the learned and interesting souls on this site.

Alas in 2007 I was made redundant and whilst am pleased to say I am in work again (a big relief at 46!) the money earned is very poor, consiquently I have very few spare negotiable blue beer vouchers. Allied to the current cost of motion lotion and the state of my 8 year old Skoda means potential trips are few and far between.

I just wondered if there were any like minded souls in the North West of England (I’m in Accrington) who may have a spare car seat for any airfield tours. It goes without saying I would be anxious to share all costs!
