Here are some old photos I’ve just found that I took in the late 50’s when a Valiant visited New Zealand for a major air-show.
They show the Valiant taxiing for take-off.

I was having a Senior Moment when I called it a Valiant – of course I know it’s a Victor!!!

That looks like XM716. That could be 55 Sqn’s logo on the fin. I took the attached picture of her in Aug.1964 when she was with 139 Sqn (I think) as my train rushed past Radlett – hence poor quality. The camouflaged one in this photo is XL163 of 100 Sqn.
