I have for some years been interested in the aviation collection in the Al Mahatta Museum on the site of the former RAF Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates (see my site http://l.garey.googlepages.com/rafsharjah,almahattamuseum
In addition to the five main exhibits (not what they seem to be, as I explained in my site), there are also pieces of several aircraft, including a Dominie. On a visit there last week I was able to get better access to these pieces than in previous visits, and found that the wing panel of the latter has a roundel and serial NF8…
There were 50 Dominies between NF847 and NF896, several with the Royal Navy. Can anyone identify this one? There are still pencilled serial numbers on pieces of, apparently, paper under plastic covers in the wing skin, but none give any obvious c/n which should be in the 6700 series. I have a photo if it helps.

Thanks T21 and alanl. I imagine that if it had been one of the civilianised Dominies it would no longer have the military roundel and serial. I shall try to decipher the numbers on the wing insets. They read:
113 734 and 7793
I shall also check my photos and maybe post them
