Bruntingthorpe – 26th April 2008
Many thanks to Guy Hulme, owner of Buccaneer S.2B/XX894, and his team for their enthusiasm and dedication they show towards their Buccaneer at Bruntingthorpe and especially for the opportunity for me to sit in XX894 as it was towed to a clear spot for a bit of a photocall. Thanks also to everyone at the Lightning Preservation Group who bent over backwards to arrange all three aircraft for a bit of a unique photo shoot towards the end of the day.

In a word crowded – even in a twin tub. I can recall that even as a skinny schoolkid I found it a very tight fit..

To quote monty python…
you lucky, lucky b******* ! – well done! , I was able to sit in one the F-6’s during one of the open days a few years back – I’m 5 ft 8 and was cramped in there, what its like in a g-suit etc is anybodies guess. That Bucc looks fantastic though….
