Does anyone know of any of these bomb carriers going spare – they were used up until the 60s as far as I know.
They are the type on the right in the attached picture (taken from http://freespace.virgin.net/john.dell/blackburn_roc.htm)
Thanks in advance

Thanks Alan
Let me check and see – i’ll get back to you soon hopefully.
All the best
I’ve got a pair of E.M. release units, with crutches and attachments, as seen in the attached photo, if you are interested.
Might be useful if you stumble across a partially stripped carrier?

Hi Ben
Thanks – I will contact them.
All the best
Elliot, we have one at the museum – try Colin Fern c/o Bournemouth Aviation Museum (the late Bill Fern’s son) he had a couple and indeed two were fitted under the wings of BAM’s Harvard but dont appear to be there any more.
They do turn up from time to time. I saw one a Beltring about 2 years ago – think the chap was asking £50 for it.
If you need some prac bomb heads let me know :diablo:
