I was flying today and overheard an interesting exchange between Coventry Radar and a pilot who appears to have busted the TRA ( Temporary Restricted Area) around Bruntingthorpe.
Did the Vulcan fly today?

Only a matter of days? or even hours?
If she did fly the tom tom drums in syber space would have been transmitting the news,
Reading the Notam it is there for the next two weeks.
Unless things are 100 per cent the aircraft will not get airbourne so it is just a case of wait and see.
So just sit tight boys and girls.

Left Brunty at 14.00 today no sign of the Vulcan but the hangar door was open a bit,
We did get buzzed by a light A/C earlier …
