Just noticed this has just gone onto the French register, does anyone out there have any further details?

It is supposed to be a D-B powered Buchon/ bf-109G.
Rene Meyer and J. M. Goyat also had a Buchon which apparently is kind of a donor aircraft in the restoration. Add to that a lot of new parts and a couple of genuine ones, and presto, you have a bonafide bf-109G.

Still not appeared on any register yet, but according to a French forum, it is a Bf.109G-6, Werk. No. 26129 which is mentioned above by Paul and is near the bottom of the list below.

An online version of the French Register is here:
http://www.immat.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/immat/servlet/aeronef_liste.html
But (my basic French) does not allow be to search it or it appears F-AZSO is not found
Anyway could it be any of these 2 from

Don’t worry. It’s not your French that’s letting you down. F-AZSO is not yet on the register on the DGAC website. However as I don’t know with what frequency it is updated, perhaps no conclusions should be drawn from that. Give the search facility on the website another go in a week or so!

He did seem to have a soft spot for the P-51!

Not clear whether you meant a ‘restoration by Paul Coggan’ or ‘reported by Paul Coggan’ Slightly academic now as Paul has passed on.
It would be ‘reported by’. Paul’s involvement with hands on restoration was a long time ago and a NAA product.

Where did you find the info? I can’t seem to find the French register anywhere (but then I seem to struggle with Google at the moment….)
I use this one:

OO-MAF, D-FMBB, D-FEHD would be the nearest geographical candidates. D-FWME has recently moved homes so it could be insured under the EADS umbrella. Any idea of a c/n number?
