It said on the BBMF website yesterday on August Display dates that the BBMF Lancaster and Spitfire were displaying at Liverpool on the above date,
Does anyone know where in Liverpool they are displaying any hep would be appreciated,

OK, I’ll rephrase it. Liverpool is a no-no for full-scale air displays…
I’ll be delighted to see what turns up for the 75 bithday bash.

I presume it would be up and down the Mersey as part of the Capital of Culture 08 shindig. Liverpool Airport is a no-no now for air displays cos of the level of commercial activity, and the Wirral and Southport shows often attended by the BBMF are in July and September respectively.
I can’t find anything on the Liverpool 08 website http://www.liverpool08.com/ at the moment, but they’re such a bunch of anally-retentive control freaks that they’re probably prosecuting the BBMF under the OSA even now for letting the cat out of the bag.
