The sequence of clips being used by the BBC on the news broadcasts today to mark the 90th anniversary of the RAF includes a Fairey Fulmar. Reckon the Senior Service might have something to say about it

The BBC are not mistaken, although I suspect that they don’t realise it. Why?
273 Squadron operated Fairey Fulmar II’s from March to September 1942 in the Far East. At one point they had 16 aircraft on strength and half of the aircrew were Naval personnel. So the BBC were right, at least one RAF Squadron operated the Fulmar.
