Wellington L7793 – 37 Squadron – 26 May 1940

I have just been informed of the discovery of substantial parts of the above Wimpey near Ostend, much of it in very good condition. Also amongst items found in an outhouse is a parachute marked “GLENCROSS” and a lifejacket marked G.A.D. I understand period photos of the crash are also in existence.

Thats great news.

Can you say anything about the find. Was it actually found in an outhouse, or was that just the parachute?
