For those of you who use LinkedIn, the Warbirds Resource Group / Warbird Information Exchange (WIX) has created the Historic Aviation Preservation networking group on the site.
Join at:
http://www.linkedin.com/e/gis/65226/147B9837C45D
As with many niche communities, the long-term sustainability of the historic aviation community lies in its members and participants, and tools like LinkedIn will help us to better communicate to our peers. It’s just another way WRG/WIX is helping to promote communication within our community.
By becoming a member of this group on LinkedIn (it’s free by the way), you’ll be able to reach others within the community easily; affording you the opportunity to reach contacts outside your circle for assistance, recommendations, or opinions on projects you are working on. Discuss pertinant questions in the recovery, restoration, display, operation, or legislation that impacts aircraft of a historic nature.
This group is open to any owner, pilot, mechanic, historian, preservationist, volunteer, administrator, or enthusiast who has an interest or connection in the historic aviation community — both civilian and military.
Again, if you are a LinkedIn member already, just click:

If you aren’t a member of LinkedIn, find out how to become one at that link. Thanks!
Best regards,

Are you trying to sign up for LinkedIn or are you trying to access the group? If the latter, send me an email at keough.ryan@gmail.com and I’ll add you to the automatic authorization list… if I can figure out how to use the ******!
Thanks!

Can’t join Linkedin.
I have tried three times and keep getting told I am using the wrong email address and the wrong pass word. My next step will be to contact WIX and complain loudly!!!
