Can anyone explain the dearth of books/articles about this very important designer?- i understand that he was ‘difficult’ to work with/for, but you’d have thought that there would be someone willing to research his life, given that he had such a long career and his aircraft were so important

Funny enough i’ve had the same thoughts for years.
A quite important designer, also the designer of (arguably) some of the most beautiful aircraft to grace the skies, and yet no detailed biographies of him.
