On Dec.20th 1954 at about 7.30pm I saw Canberra WE 119 of 231 OCU Bassingbourne crash at St Margarets Herts after the pilot F/Off C B Crombie had ejected,& landed safely, P/Off R Sholl & F/Off H Thorne were killed.
I am seeking a picture of this A/C for my personal records, has anyone out there got one Please?
Any help greatly appreciated

Sorry, trying to be too clever.
I saved the link to my hard drive for reference. There wasn’t a lot of point in posting a link to my D drive so I clicked “previous thread” and edited the result.
Wrongly…
This should work

No photographs but I mentioned it here approaching 5 years ago. However I understood all the crew were killed.

No photo, but of interest is that the pilot F/O Crombie was the first successful ejection through a Canberra canopy at 10,000 feet and 500 kts. Makes the eye’s water thinking about it !
