Can anyone supply further information, especialy details of casualties for the following two incidents?
1) 25th Sep 1943, Wellington X, JA448. of 29 OTU.
2) 20th oCT 1943, Wellington III, BK549, of 29 OTU.
3) 6th Nov 1943, Wellington X, LN551, of 29 OTU.
4) 17th May 1944, Wellington X, MF314, of 29 OTU.

Took off 1125 hrs Bruntingthorpe for a navigation detail with screened instructer, F/O. Lance, two pupil pilots and a crew under training. Broke out of the cloud base in a steep dive and hit the ground at 1215 hrs near Mendham, 11 miles WSW of Beccles, Suffolk and practically on the border with Norfolk.

Took off 2130 hrs Bruntingthorpe for a night navigation exercise. Lost engine power and in marginal weather crash-landed at 0300 hrs at Naseby, 12 miles NNW of Northampton.

Crashed near basingstoke at 2253 following fire in starboard engine.
Sgt Robertson from West Nicholson S/ Rhodesia and WO2 Ramage
are buried in Brookwood Military Cemertary, the rest were taken
to their home towns. RAF Command losses Vol 7.

T/O 0132 Bruntingthorpe for a night exercise but before gaining height, the pilot began banking steeply, while doing so, the nose of the
aircraft dropped and it crashed in to a field at Walton 4 miles ene of Lutterworth in Leicestershire at 0138. SGT Smart was taken to Botley cemertary, while the rest were claimed by their next of kin.
