Webbie has been tidying up. What do you think of the change? Had you even noticed? 🙂

I moaned about the quantity of stickies once but, if I remember, drew some critiscm from other members 😮

So I appreciate it – when I open up I can actually see some thread titles on screen and not just stickies! Will it last though? :diablo:

I’ll be the first to admit ‘not noticing’, but then I only log on mornings, afternoons and evenings!:D

What a refreshing change not to see loads of stickies on the front page

I think stickies appear at the top of every page because it is hard-wired in the vbulletin board software.

I don’t think so. Check out 12 O’Clock High! which is the same vBulletin version 3.6.4 and it displays the stickies on page 1 only. It must be a board setting.

Definite improvment – why not have a dedicated Stickies board, and just leave the few usual/essential “T&C” and “Notices for posters” stickies on the “discussion” forums (fora?).

Or maybe all stickies except the essentials can be time limited, such that they disappear or are taken down say, four weeks after first being posted?

If a “mostly lurking” member has a saying: Great! To take it one step further, do the stickies need to be on page 2-3-> also? Doesn’t on page 1 suffice?
