Recently I acquired the document illustrated in the attached photographs. It appears to be a specification produced by Vickers-Armstrongs (Weybridge) for the Vickers Viking 1B in June 1946. The text is typewritten and roneoed (that I can remember the term dates me!) and the drawings and diagrams are blueprints. It is bound with a standard Vickers-Armstrongs card cover, with a bespoke label, and lacing. Can anyone tell me what it is and for what purpose it was produced or anything else about it?

Could be for the Air Registration Board( or Ministry of Civil Aviation in those days) for flight test purposes ?

I would imagine your specification folder was produced to be handed to potential purchasers, as you know untill the aircraft went into service, there would be few other ways for the manufacturer to “sell” the product.
Love the word “roneoed” (unfortunately I to remember it well). Keith
