The 4/KG53 He111 down at Ovington was brought down by Parachute and Cable device fired by Wattons ground defences (IIRC this was the only time this system was sucessfully used) from around 100ft. The crew of 5 survived the crash landing.
The Ju88 was also brought down by Wattons defences, it was hit by AA fire and came down at Scoulton at 1:45am. 3 of the crew of 4 were killed. Aircraft from 4/KG1.
The P-47 was presumed to have been struck by lightning after flying into a thunderstorm. 1Lt Garrett C King killed in the crash. Pilot and aircraft from the 334FS, 4FG.

There were 19 German a/c down in Norfolk during the war, the 2 you are probably referring to are the He111 down at Ovington on 18/2/41 and the Ju88 at Scoulton on 12/5/41.

The P-47 is the 4thFG 42-7875, down at Petygards House near Swaffham on 14/6/43.

Try Michael Bowyers book “Air Raid” a very detailed book on Luftwaffe operations and losses over East anglia. Your local library should be able to get a copy for you as it is long out of print.

I am looking for any information relating to the above crash sites, i am particularly looking for info on a HE111 and JU88 that crashed near watton, Norfolk. but i am intrested in any sites or information relating to Norfolk.

A few years back, I was visiting a plant/tree nursery & pond shop which are/were conveinently situated next to the ‘Fenland-Aviation-Museum’.

Near the entrance they had an Ordnance Survey Map with various coloured pins, denoting various a/c crashes.

Apart from the various Spitfire (Yawn) & Blenheim crashes littered around (expectedly), the one that caught my eye, was that of a Do.217 that reputedly crashed at the back of what is nowadays Flitcham social-club.

It’s worth a visit, good little museum & the map I’ve related above covers N.W. Norfolk, though not Watton or Pickenham (now a wind turbine area !)

Bircham churchyard’s a bit of an eye opener – there are about 8 or 9 Luftwaffe aircrew interred there, one of whom was a victim of Guy Gibson when he was flying Night-Fighter Beaufighters in 29 Sqdn.
Another is from an He.115 floatplane shot down over the North-Norfolk coastline, from which (apparently) the (British) ‘boffins’ gained the secret of German self-sealing fuel tanks.
Also seem to recall that Max Aitken (?) was flying a Blenheim at night, attempting to shoot down a Ju.88 over King’s Lynn but got taken out by ‘friendly-fire’ (A.A).
As all the above is off the top of my head with no reference – I’m reliant on the old ‘Grey-matter’ LOL.
Someone else with material at hand will no doubt give exact details, but it’s a starter !
