The Kent Spitfire At Duxford Today

A post winter maintenance flight for ‘The Kent Spitfire’ TA 805 at Duxford today. She was put through her paces by John Romain about lunch time. Nice to see something this time of year! A few pics here and hopefully be able to upload a video clip tommorow.

Thanks Roobarb, hope to be able to see it then fairly soon 😉

Nice to see a warbird out and about at this time of year 🙂

Any idea as to whether TA805 will remain at Duxford until the Spring, or return to Biggin Hill once these tests are completed?

Regards,

Dan

Going back to Biggin Hill as soon as the weather is up to it and the driver is available.

wish I were bit closer to have seen this…the weather in Co. Durham was abysmal…certainly not suitable for climbing on the bonnie and running down half the country.

later in the year perhaps.

lovely pictures makes me want one, have no where to keep it, no money, no flying licence, havent flown since the ATC days in the 70’s but I WANT ONE.

thanks for the photos

Chris
