Hi all,
Any ideas where I can get a DVD set of the excellent TV mini series – broadcast in the early 90’s I think – of ‘Wings of the Luftwaffe’?
They also did ‘Wings of the Red Star’.
I remember borrowing a set on VHS. Really well put together despite monotonous background music.
Thanks a lot
Herr E Pleine.

Wings of the Luftwaffe
Hi CS,
I checked out the Discovery Store in the US.
It lists a ‘Wings’ DVD that appears to include some of the fighters. Its not the whole series and therefore not what I am looking for.
You lucky Americans are about to see the whole series on your Military Discovery Channel, advertised here –
http://military.discovery.com/tv-schedules/series.html?paid=52.14156.75203.1794.x
Can I bribe you to record the whole lot, bring the DVD’s over personaly and claim a ride in any of my Luftwaffe machines?!
(Thanks for the offer of VHS but I’m not really geared up for it these days.)
All help appreciated.
VBR

Hi
remember this well
I managed to tape about 4 or 5 of these at the time of their broadcast..ME262, Komet, ME1110 and the V weapons, might also have had the one on the JU 52.
I agree an excellent series, packed full of information and original footage…and gothic music.
If you find a DVD source please publish it on here cos i’d be interested
cheers
Chris

I have these reissued under another title on VHS I think, they are for sale if you’re keen, not asking much for them
