It is an NF.30 as it has the thimble or Universal radar nose. What a great waste in those days !

When the last of the TT35 and TIII Mosquitos were retired did the MoD offer them for sale or preservation. I know Skyfame, and Liverpool Airport managed to secure examples, did anyone else try to secure one.

I would have thought HAPS, MAPS or NAPS, or the fledging Newark Air Museum would have snapped these Mosquitos up.

Could well be the machine Counsul has offered. The history of the aircraft is:
NT449 NF30 (units)125/609/29 To 6934M 26.11.51

You may find it’s NT449 which I think was an NF30 and was ex 6534M. I think it was still there on the dump when I visited to look over the Lysander hangared there on 8.4.63.
