Does anyone know the identity and fate of the 5 or 6 Auster AOP.9’s that passed through Nev Martin’s yard at Bruntingthorpe in the 1990’s? I have so far only identifieD XK416.
And yes, I have asked Nev, he is a very close friend, but he can’t remember!!

Just been checking on my copy of Newark’s Virtual Museum CD ROM but unfortunately the AOP.9 is not listed – so unable to provide any further details.

The Newark machine came from John Butcher down Salisbury direction.

Thanks for the replies guys, I will chase up the Newark line of enquiry, thanks.
There were definatly 5 or 6 Austers involved, Nev has mentioned them a few times now, and my son Max, has the instrument panel from one of them!
We are active members of Nev Martin’s Phoenix Aviation Museum group, at Bruntingthorpe, which is still going strong.

I thought the only A0P.9 to go through Bruntingthorpe was the Sandy Topen example when he was in residence .

Did Newark’s AOP.9 project XR268 come through there?
There Buccaneer came from the Phoenix Aviation Group that was at Bruntingthorpe and I think that N.Martin moved some of their exhibits.
