Now that both Mr Pond and Mr Tallichet have sadly passed away what will become of their collections. Just being realistic.
Will they be split up and flood the market or gradually being dispersed. A large number of restoration project would become available. Will there be any interest or would this just freeze the movement?
Would be great to see G-FIRE back on this side of the pond again. Anyway these people did a great deal of work for the historic aircraft movement and should be remembered for that.
Cheers

I can speak on the Tallichet collection no it will not while some items will come up for sale for the most part David knew he was sick and wouldn’t be alive that much longer, he had already started to make plans for the collection. Some aircraft are slated to be part of the stuff that is/has gone to PIMA while some other will be joining the B-17 at 1941HAG Geneseo they have already took on the A-20 and the V-77 look for a few other aircraft to be added over the next few months also.
As for Mr. Pond collection it won’t be going anywhere the collection is part of a 501c3 museum which he set up when he moved the collection from Minn. to its present location. You might see maybe one or two aircraft trade for other item but the collection as a whole is going to stay intact.
