I’m trying to find out more about an article in a 1981 Aeromilitaria – particularly who the author was, and where the photos were sourced from.
However their website is not particularly forthcoming about contact details (or, if it is, I can’t find them), and the email for contacts about photographs is dead.
Does anyone have a current contact address that I could use? I’m happy to pay a years sub (one Christmas is over…) if that is what it takes, given that they are an entirely volunteer organisation, but it would be nice to know first…
Thanks in anticipation,
Adrian
ETA – I took a potshot at the photography email address, based on their other ones, and they’ve got back to me!
As I no longer need the details, could a kind moderator close the thread, please?
Thanks,
Adrian

Lee,
The email (received, by the way, thanks, G-ANPK) names a contact I could try.
The other email, replying to my initial query (and thrown at an email address I hoped existed!) suggests that the pics were probably from the RAF Museum collection.
If you fancy a go at confirming this and tracking them down, you are more than welcome. If not, I appreciate the thought!

I have sent you an e-mailG-ANPK
Does your e-mail answer the question? If not then I’ll continue with the request, but won’t if it’s already been solved.

Well, if you fancy a challenge who am I to stop you? 😀
Great Sampford airfield, Aeromilitaria No 3 1981 – three pics of Horsas there. Probably RAF Museum collection, apparently.
I shall be very interested to see what you find!
