Spitfire cockpit plates dimensions

some time ago, someone, I think it was Mark V or TomW, put a photo of Spitfire plates up…..I need to get some cockpit plates made so was wondering if anyone has the dimensions please (I do know Graham does some thanx) cheer TIA

Which aircraft are they for Paul? The CHASSIS EMERGENCY LOWERING plate looks a little ‘square’ compared with the Mk V, IX & XI type which gets fitted to the edge of the IFF destruct button mounting bracket.

That one was copied from the MkVb the rest were copied from ones in the IIa,Vb & IX and are replacing missing items from our a/c

Any more info on placards other than Spits? I have a lot of those that need to be made for the Halifax cockpit. Peter had some made in Canada at quite a cost. Any alternatives before the wallet is empty?

Someone has done reproduction sets,just can,t remember who…Bit pricey though IIRC.Something on my “To do list”…

Ian the following plates would be nice:

Emergency CO2 bottle and operation
Elevator trim
radiator flap
airscrew control
the big warning plate on the starboard

Which labels are you after? I have sizes for some, both engraved and printed. They’re not all absolutely straight mind!
