New Spitfire Doco….

Err ummm this is a shameless plug for a good mate of mine who helped me get started in this insanity.This is his “first”attempt at a Doco ..Trailer here..

He has been doing this for a few years now and is a labor of love for him.He has quoted this

Basically the plan is to keep making movies and get a name for myself, and at the height of my career, a Spitfire feature film of course! what else . But of course they don’t fund no names, but this doco is a start, and as they say each journey begins with a single step. And this is my big step. From here, if it rates well, I’ll take it to a Free to air tv network and see if I can get a release.

Then take it to the world, and if the world doesn’t want it (my doco has been called too parochial, the exact words of a big wig producer, who said ‘who cares about Australian pilots’….I BLOODY WELL DO!) then I’ll release it to DVD for the discerning enthusiast.

So yeah, watch it, help me get the ratings up, which will help me get it to the rest of the world for you lot.
Long way to go about it i know. P.S I don’t make money out of this becuase I made this at a complete financial loss, and I didn’t make it for money either, it was for the men, some of who have passed away before I got to finish it, so they will not see it.

I guess that makes it more valuable, that their stories are on tape for future generations.

He is a young guy in his twenties so any support now will hopefully boost his place in the world.
As far as I know the History Channel here in Auss is the only one picking it up…so far.
