INSIDE INFORMATION !!!
Air Atlantique Classic Flight are looking for a full time employed pilot to fly most of their fleet of aircraft, a dream job!
The guideline requirements are for a pilot with minimum of a CPL, 700 hrs total time, and be available to fly whenever required, especially in the summer. I think some of the previous experience should be tailwheel considering the aircraft they fly! I guess even if you don’t meet all of the criteria it’s still worth applying?
If you know of anyone that is mad about old aeroplanes and wants a job flying them, then tell them to send an email to the Chief Pilot at pilots@classicflight.com
There will be an advert going out soon, so it will be best to get in there quick and get your CV in the pile before there are too many applicants!
Pass the word around to those who may be interested.
Good luck!

They’re there to fetch, carry, lift and wash your car DHE 🙂
The day I meet a pilot who does even 1 of the 3 will be THE day:diablo:

Bruce already flies the Twin Pioneer for us and its quite possible that this maybe extended to include other aircraft in the future. All this is of course on a volunteer basis.
Damn. Wish I’d stayed now.

Bruce has just got command at Astraeus and my guess is he won’t throw that away, so even if feasible, I can’t see it being full-time.

Is there any substance to the rumour of Bruce Dickinson (lead vocals of Iron Maiden) joining Air Atlantique? I know he was on a course hosted by AA at the beginning of the year, since I pestered him for a photo during a tab break. I don’t think it had anything to do with him joining AA at that point – this is a rumour I’ve heard since. Odd the people you bump into at work! He is a big fan of old aircraft – presenter of Flying Heavy Metal, part time driver of XL426, and qualified airline pilot.. (astreus airlines, Stanstead)

Not that i’m aware of…though I know RVL were actively recruiting for 2 fugs a few weeks ago. Wrong hangar for me though ;-).

I have heard rumours of something coming up… The 700 hrs (likely a requirement for carrying pax under JAR) puts me out – for now 🙁 Have CF managed to get their own Fug yet?
