WWII Ground Equipment

I’m trying to find some info on period ground equipment, mostly towing vehicles eg: David Brown Taskmasters and USAAF Cletracs etc, are there any good websites out there? as I haven’t managed to find much. Cheers.

Tom

Good idea to keep an eye out on Milweb-look in the vehicle park if you’re thinking of coming over to the dark side and buying some heavy metal all of your own:diablo:

Edit

If you look under “Armour & Tracked” there is an ex – RAF Cletrac M2 tug for sale currently

Thanks folks, Fordson Model ‘N’s were widely used for towing bomb trolleys too, that gives me something to go on.

There’s a great little tractor at the Sywell Aviation Museum, can’t remember the type but i’m sure TexanTomcat will remind me, sure someone here has photos of it. I had some photos but lost them long ago unfortunately
