Could anyone confirm if anyone has ever dived in Debden Hall lake and
found Don Gentles P-51B Mustang which is said to have been dumped in the
Lake there. I have heard that two divers were in the lake about 6 years ago
and I believe they were from a Club in Ipswich area. I spoke to a Farmer near
to the airfield, who also holds the Prop from a crashed P-51B which then was
put on show at Duxford with the Essex Recovery Group,( who I note are back
at the I.W.M.) Mr Edward Tuffler. He states that he never heard of the air –
craft being dumped in the Lake there at Debden. I have heard that is about
5 miles from Debden in a pond on Private land.
Anyone heard anything.

Jesse – I think she has been searched for before . Nothing found. I should imagine if anyone had any ideas that Don Gentile’s Mustang was in their pond they might be tempted to drag it out and cash in.
