Just found these pics on airliners.net, and thought some forumites might be interested. These are a bunch of ex-Italian Air Force Tornado F.3’s snapped at a scrapper’s somewhere in the Hitchin, Herts area. Anything worth saving??

Yes, I caught these at St Athan at the beginning of last year. Must admit I too have a soft spot for the F3.

Obviously very heavily ‘spares recovered’ but a very sad sight all the same.
I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for this much maligned ‘British’ interceptor.

Amazing sight isnt it, I’m sure these were the ones that were stripped at St Athan.
Should be some RAF ones along soon
